Digital Label Printing
No plates. Fast proofing. Variable data and serialization native to the process.
What it's for
Digital is the right call when the run is under fifty thousand, when every unit is different (UDI codes, serial numbers, lot codes), or when you need a proof in days rather than weeks. The cost-per-unit is higher than flexographic at scale, but the setup cost is near zero — which is why digital wins on short and medium runs and on any program where SKU complexity is high.
We use digital for medical-device labeling and UDI compliance, regulated short-run programs, prototype and pre-production labels, regional consumer brand pilots, and any application where versioning beats volume.
What it survives
Modern digital inksets — UV-cured and high-pigment toner — produce labels that hold up to most non-extreme environments. Where digital can't reach (long-term outdoor, sterilization, aggressive chemical exposure), we say so and route to flexo, screen, or photo-anodized aluminum instead.
Typical applications
